Offered for sale is a Weiler Primus VC lead screw and draw spindle lathe, manufactured in 2012, in very good condition. The control system, in combination with a precision lathe from Weiler, performs the following functions: graphical display of travel paths and travel direction, graphical representation of the coordinate system on the lathe, compensation of tool corrections, zero point shift to compensate for workpiece position, radius/diameter switching, graphical display of the main spindle direction of rotation, and graphical display of the position of the machine's speed potentiometer. This is a very nice lathe with AC drive and stepless speed control of the spindle. All slides move very easily and smoothly. Even at high speeds, the Weiler runs quietly.
