The interior is made of V2A stainless steel, insulated, and clad with aluminum or stainless steel sheet.
Various programs available:
- Sterilization by spray process based on time or F value.
- Steam treatment by time or F value. (Probe sensor) Core temperature indication and control included.
Connections: Water, compressed air, steam, waste water, and venting.
The autoclave was only operated 3 to 3.5 months per year since its initial commissioning.
It was used to sterilize pre-packaged foods in aluminum pouches.
It has not been in operation for 2 years, but remained installed and connected. Every few weeks or months, it was switched on and run empty.
