During temperature shock testing, the resistance of components, devices, and other products to rapid changes in ambient temperature is tested.
The test specimens are subjected to rapid temperature changes in air with alternating upper and lower temperature loads.
By means of these cyclic loads and the accelerated aging caused by temperature changes, weaknesses in the test specimen can be identified.
