DESCRIPTION
BRIQUETTING PRESS
This press is intended for compressing secondary raw materials into briquettes (briquette shape: rectangular).
Technical specifications of the press:
Dimensions:
Length: 1800 mm (2100 mm for transport)
Width: 1800 mm (2000 mm for transport)
Height: 1900 mm (2200 mm for transport)
Net weight: 2945 kg
Power supply:
380 V, 50 Hz, 33 kW, 70-100 A
Output capacity:
450 kg/h (+/-50 kg depending on raw material type and fraction)
Noise level:
A-weighted sound pressure level at operator’s station: 77.8 dB +/-5 dB
Compression pressure:
Minimum: 1000 kg/cm²
Maximum: 1700 kg/cm²
Pressure:
Max. 300 bar
Raw material moisture content:
No more than 14%
Briquette dimensions:
Width: 150 mm
Thickness: 60 mm
Length: 40-105 mm
Permissible ambient temperature for operation:
Nwsdpfx Aboxmav Njnep
-20°C to +35°C (up to +50°C with additional cooling system)
The press consists of:
Electrical system – controls the hydraulic press system. There are four electric motors: the first (30 kW) drives the main hydraulic pumps, the second (1.1 kW) powers the cooling hydraulic pump, the third (0.55 kW) drives the cooling fan of the oil system, and the fourth (1.5 kW) drives the sawdust feed screw. The operation of the motors and hydraulic valves is managed via contactors and intermediate solid-state relays by a microprocessor with expansion modules. For visualization and parameter adjustment, a liquid crystal display with buttons is provided.
Hydraulic system – manages the operation of hydraulic cylinders using pumps, high- and low-pressure valves, solenoid valves, and hoses. There are three hydraulic cylinders: the first is the main cylinder for compressing sawdust, the second is a vertical cylinder for initial sawdust compaction, and the third is a forming cylinder for moving the briquette form. Also installed are an oil cooling system with a pump and air cooler. Oil filtration is performed by the main high-capacity filter, a filter for the cooling system, and a fine filtering unit.
Feeding of raw material into the press is performed by an integrated loading hopper. The raw material in the hopper is mixed intermittently to prevent bridging. The mixer is driven by a chain from the auger gearmotor. The auger cyclically feeds the material to the shaft of the vertical cylinder. The hopper is equipped with two level sensors – lower and upper. When the hopper is enlarged, the sensors can be repositioned as needed.
Control – dual-mode, manual and automatic, is provided. All control equipment is mounted in the electrical cabinet. Automatic control constitutes the normal press operation without operator intervention. Manual control is used for press setup, troubleshooting, returning the cylinders to their home positions, or in emergency situations. Operation is facilitated by a display located on the cabinet door. It allows for viewing and adjustment of input parameters, as well as real-time monitoring of press status and error messages.
