The Shandon Consul Automated Coverslipper System permanently covers slide-mounted specimens using permanent glass coverslips. By automating coverslipping, the long-term storage quality of specimens is maintained while reducing operator exposure to solvents. The Shandon Consul Coverslipper is capable of coverslipping 400 slides per hour while accepting coverslip sizes 22, 24 x 40, 50, 55, 60 mm and accommodating slides from 0.8 to 1.2 mm in thickness.
