Functional Description
The machine is used for individually or collectively wrapping packages with polyethylene shrink film.

* Operating principle: Semi-automatic and pneumatic.
* Process: The product is manually fed in via a format slide; all subsequent steps (banding, further transport into the shrink tunnel) are carried out automatically.
* Sealing process: A continuously heated safety sealing device separates and seals the film. A Teflon cloth prevents the film from sticking to the sealing blade.

Placing the film rolls

* Positioning: The rolls are placed on pairs of support rollers, both above and below.
* Adjustment: Adjustment rings limit the film laterally with an allowance of approximately 1–2 mm (adjustment using an Allen key).
* Preparation: The film ends are guided through the sealing device. By pushing the infeed carriage forward and backward once, the separating sealing process is pneumatically initiated, creating the so-called film curtain.

* Film material: Processes two rolls of flat shrink film made of polyethylene.
* Film thickness: The recommended standard thickness is 40 µm (micrometers).
* Film alignment: The rolls are fixed with adjustment rings, with a lateral play of 1–2 mm to be set.
* Film width: The maximum width is 210 mm.
* Control: The machine operates pneumatically and is activated via a manual slide.
