With bolted,welded and horizontal types, silos are used in storing cement,fly ash,bentonite and other bulk materials.

Welded Silos
Welded silos are preferred in low capacities of storage, it can be assembled and operated in 2 hours with one crane. It is preferred in local solutions where transportation costs can be neglected. Semix is able to manufacture welded silos in a range between 50 to 150 tons.

Bolted Silos

Bolted silos are preferred due to its' compactness for transportation. It can be transported with containers for avoiding freight costs. Because of its modularity, Semix is able to manufacture welded silos in a range between 100 to 2000 tons. Semix provides a mechanical supervisor for assembling the bolted silo correctly. Semix have succeed to install bolted silos in Peru, Israel, Germany and United Kingdom.
