It is stiffened by welded reinforcements across the entire machine bed, making it extremely stable. The table shape used, with a large base, is the secret to ensuring lasting precision and stability. The machine layout allows the user optimal workflow with a minimum of space requirements. The mobile gantry support is made of a solid monoblock. It is positioned in the X direction on prismatic ground guides via recirculating ball slides. On this mobile unit carrier, the work unit is mounted on prismatic, ground guides and recirculating ball slides. All axes are moved on large-section prism linear guides and recirculating ball bearings with a large contact surface, ensuring optimal gliding even at the highest speeds and accelerations. Precise and rapid positioning of the movable gantry (X-axis) is achieved by a pinion and rack with helical teeth. Large-section recirculating ball screws ensure precise positioning of the work unit along the movable gantry (Y and Z axes). MOTORS, DRIVES AND INVERTERS Perfect mechanical dynamics and maximum positioning accuracy are controlled by high-quality drives and brushless motors, designed to achieve speeds of up to 90 m/min while ensuring the best finishing quality. CONTROL The control unit consists of a numerical control for milling and drilling machines with "Xilog Maestro" graphical user interface based on the Windows 7 Office operating system. 17-inch LCD color screen. QWERTY keyboard. Tilting control panel. Machine interface with Xilog Maestro software.
