SMC Technology – Smart Machine Control

A unique step-regulated control concept developed by Rehm: The arc length is regulated not only by measuring voltage and welding current, but also by the digital determination of wire feed speed. This enables excellent welding results while keeping operation easy and safe.

- SDI – Stepless Dynamic Induction

The continuously adjustable coil automatically ensures exceptional arc ignition properties and high arc stability during welding. Fine-tuning can be performed manually using the SDI knob. This allows adjustment of heat input, which can positively influence the amount of post-weld work required.

- RSC – Realtime Speer Control

Digital monitoring and regulation of the wire feed speed with high precision and in real time. With the use of RSC, changes in arc length are compensated for more quickly and efficiently.

- CCM – Characteristic Curie Memory

Built-in database of expert welding parameters. By selecting the wire type, diameter, and desired welding voltage, the system synergistically sets the optimal preset welding parameters. During operation, actual parameter values are constantly compared to the preset values, and automatically adjusted as needed.

- RMI – Rehm Machine Interface

The machine’s control panel is extremely user-friendly and ensures error-free selection. Simple parameter selection makes the operator’s job easier, helping to minimize mistakes and reduce setup time.
