The transformer / plasma power source is a 400A unit from "VEB Schweißtechnik Finsterwalde," built in 1990. It appears extremely high-quality and robust, and has been modified on top by OSU-Hessler to accommodate two wire spools (two sets of different spool sizes are included).

The system must be collected in person and can be easily transported alone using a light truck or van equipped with a tail lift.
