MACHINE EFD 3000

The EFD machine we are offering has a capacity of 2000 mm, but once the MF and HF adaptation boxes are installed, this travel is limited to approximately 1700 mm. It is equipped with a Siemens 840 D CNC (replaced 3 months ago), with 3 digitized axes: Z, Y (200 mm), and C, a double spindle with dual tailstock controlled separately, 1 MF adaptation box, and 1 HF adaptation box.

The machine height is 4400 mm. The maximum workpiece weight on the main spindle is 600 kg. The maximum weight per piece on the double spindle is 50 kg.

The converter is transistor-type, with a power output of 300 kW and equipped with three frequency ranges: 100 kHz at 200 kW, 3 kHz and 10 kHz at 300 kW.

Parameter monitoring is integrated into the Siemens 840 D CNC. It will control: voltage, current, power, MF or HF frequency, quench flow rate by analog flowmeter, quench water temperature via PT 100 probe, with a color printer included. Optionally, a serial link is available, allowing program transfer to avoid dual programming for the CNC and the RTM 100.

- 1 SIEMENS 840 D controller (replaced 3 months ago)
- 1 X-axis, vertical travel approx. 1500 mm depending on MF and HF adaptation boxes
- 1 Y-axis, horizontal travel 200 mm
- 1 C-axis spindle rotation, max workpiece weight 600 kg, max diameter 500 mm (according to inductor)
- 1 double spindle with dual tailstock
- 1 hydraulic circuit with analog flowmeter for quench water
- 1 second hydraulic quench water circuit without flowmeter, solenoid valve controlled by program, no flowmeter supplied
- 1 simple interface for high frequency inductor connection
- 1 simple interface for medium frequency inductor connection
- 1 operator access door

- Integrated RTM 100 standard process monitoring system in the Siemens 840 D, with color printer
- All necessary electrical interconnections for medium, high frequency, and low voltage
- Complete documentation in French (user and operating manuals)

This installation is highly versatile due to its wide frequency range (low, medium, and high), all provided by a single generator, making it rare on the market.

The high power rating of 300 kW enables the processing of large or two workpieces simultaneously.
