The Venturi Scrubber is a device that generally consists of a centrifugal part capable of separating the solid parts from the liquids and of a Venturi column that narrows in the middle section to vary the pressure and therefore allow the polluting solid particles to fall through the fumes. This type of Scrubber is used for the removal of dust and pollution present in corrosive and dangerous industrial gases. Venturi Scrubbers are used in the abatement of particulates that come from coal, oil or wood boilers, the textile industry but also for emissions from the chemical industries, wood industries, paper mills, etc.
