The IKA Midi MR 1 is a digital magnetic stirrer (without heating), designed for laboratory mixing tasks. It is part of IKA’s IKAMAG line of magnetic stirrers.

“Magnetic stirrer” here means that a magnetic stir bar inside the vessel is rotated by a rotating magnetic field created by the unit, thereby stirring the liquid.
