GRAFS CG

GRAFS CG series grinding machine is designed for sharpening knives used mainly in wood and recycling industry. The knife sharpening machine model CG can be supplied in 2 different grinding lengths: mm 1.000 and mm 1.500.
The grinder has a number of improvements to achieve high-quality sharpening for many years of use. It is equipped with a swiveling electromagnetic chuck, it is also possible to attach knives using special clamps on the other side of the table. Angle +-120 degrees. Proper cooling of the sharpened surfaces is ensured by a cooling system with a tank and magnetic coolant cleaner with rotating drum - model MS60. Filter with tank is hidden inside of the machine reducing the same the space needed for the whole machine. Our design allows for installation machine in very small places, which is very convenient.
Grinding motor power as a standard is 4 kW. Developed in our firm the special holding adapter allows for quick and easy removal and fastening of the grinding wheel with just three clamping screws.
The carriage is equipped with the best class rolling rollers (PWTR) which ensures quiet and smooth operation. The carriage is moving on the metal hardened steel strips.
In addition, as standard, the grinder is equipped with a slide carriage speed control system (potentiometer and inverter).

The machine is perfect for sharpening knives, where high rigidity are needed, e.g chipper knives, granulator blades, planner knives.

Standard solutions in GRAFS CG SERIES:
- Easy downfeed by hand wheel (mechanical downfeed as an extra option),
- Easy grinding wheel assembly (a special holder developed in our company enables quick assembly of the grinding wheel with 3 clamping screws),
- Efficient sharpening of both mild steel and increased hardness such as: NC11LV, HSS,
- Internal tank with pump for coolant, (magnetic separator as an option),
- Solid welded construction without any vibrations during work,
- Grinding motor 4kW (with appropriate grinding wheel motor bearings),
- Strong electromagnetic chuck length 1000 mm or 1500 mm,
- Steel plates with T channel for mounting knives by clamps (for example for 4 planer knives at once),
- Grinding wheel diameter from 175 mm or 200 mm,
- Smooth adjustment of carriage speed from 1 to 16 m/min (using the potentiometer),
- Possibility of mounting different grinding wheel (corundum, CBN, DIA,
grinding wheel with segments),

The machine has all necessary electrical tests and CE DECLARATION, build in Poland on European components.
