Depending on the type of cross-cutting knife and the diameter of the straightening rollers, the thickness of the processed metal varies from 1 mm to 2 mm. The Forstner SLIT series is a reliable assistant when cutting rolled metal. The SLIT CUT and SLIT PRO models not only cut the metal, but also cut it lengthwise into strips of the selected width. As standard, these models are equipped with 5 longitudinal cutting knives (the maximum number of knives is 7). The main difference between the SLIT CUT and SLIT PRO models is the type of cutting knife - a circular shear or a guillotine.

The Forstner COMPACT series is a device that pulls the required length of material, flattens it, cuts it into strips of the desired width and cuts sheets of a set length. POWER COMPACT is a powerful equipment for flattening, longitudinal cutting and shearing rolled metal. These two models differ in working width and cross-cutting metal thickness.
