Grid melter for blocks up to 25 kg. Designed for melting hard or frozen blocks of butter/margarine/fats for further processing. Capacity: 50-10,000 kg/h, and CIP cleanable, with 4 spray balls. Hot water (120°C - 2 bar) runs through the grid and bottom (spiral shape). Equipped with a double-acting pneumatic cylinder on the inlet cover. Includes connections for temperature and level sensors. Special horizontal and centrally positioned agitator with vanes below the grid (EDW 1-3 agitator). Documentation: operating and maintenance instructions available. Currently without controls.
